Gold Panda had so much blog site hype last year that I actually avoided listening to it for some time.  Sometimes the overwhelming words and phrases of praise scare me personally away and I prefer to wait around and listen, even if I’mirielle a little late to the celebration.

Well, guess what – the  UK company and his debut full-length “Lucky Shiner” were completely deserving of all the attention.

Disk jockey Mario Cotto did a great job of outlining why, so I won’t repeat it, but I will encourage you to listen to the album’s 3rd one “Maiage,” as well as remixes by Baths and more.
